Actually I carved myself 2 pieces of PVC to adapt mirror base to door screw holes. All I needed was an electric screw driver and a rasp to give the rounded shape. You may use some sandpaper if you like to give a smoother finish. PVC is very easy to work with and very cheap too. It's not that difficult, the tricky part is the wiring ;) If you need some guidance I'll be glad to help you.
So I've got some mirrors now, just wondering did you bolt the pvc spacer to the exciting threads then bolt the corsa mirrors to that? Did you cut the metal lugs off the corsa mirrors to make life easier?
What I did was to carve the PVC in order to fully embed the corsa mirrors base, then drill holes to PVC at the exact point where the door holes were and finally fit a nut at reverse side of PVC to bolt the one and only screw the corsa mirrors have. I had to embed the whole corsa base into PVC to avoid spinning around, corsa mirrors have only one screw to fit it in car body.
Love the look of these, what did you use for the base plates?
